From NSW Land and Housing Corporation, Millers Point
“On behalf of Land and Housing Corporation, I would like to express my thanks (and the thanks of the entire team past and present) for the professionalism and dedication from all the personnel at DrainCorp.
Projects like Millers Point are extremely challenging due to the unknown nature of the ground conditions and the various regulatory bodies involved. Throughout the project, DrainCorp crews have been willing to work within the strict controls and understanding of the inevitable delays that occur. LAHC really appreciates this.
DrainCorp has been an invaluable part of the project and the one true source of knowledge in relation to the hydraulics throughout the precinct. This has been of great assistance to LAHC and the project.
Please pass on my gratitude and thanks to all the crew, and in particular Andrew, for their tireless work and dedication.
If you have any queries, please let me know.

From Baulderstone Hornibrook:
“I highly recommend Draincorp as a Subcontractor.
Draincorp were contracted to install all Sewer and Water Main Infrastructure on the
Base Infrastructure Upgrade (BIU) Project @ RAAF Amberley, QLD.
Throughout this project they were responsible for the construction and installation of
all gravity and pressure main sewers and sections of large Council and Defence
water mains. This included all manholes and air valve pit construction, all scour and
isolation valve works and complete testing throughout. They worked tirelessly under
a strict security regime in an oppressive climate, to tight deadlines and made the
They can be trusted to provide all relevant project documentation including all quality
assurance information. This was proven by their ability to outshine all other, more
established companies, involved in this project. The Workplace Health and Safety
requirements expected of this Department of Defence Project were extremely strict
and caused a few subcontractors many problems. Of which Draincorp managed to
comply, with little difficulty and an air of humour.
I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of working with Draincorp and their personnel
involved with this project and have no problems in referring them for further works in
their specialised field.
If you would like to discuss this reference further, please feel free to contact me.

“To whom it may concern
Following a rigorous tendering process Draincorp (Aust) Pty Ltd (Draincorp) were
engaged to construct infrastructure for non-potable and potable water supplies at the
Australian National Botanic Gardens (ANBG). Draincorp’s willingness to work closely
and effectively with ANBG staff providing options and solutions was exemplary
throughout the project and evident from the initial contract negotiation stages.
The ANBG houses the most comprehensive display of Australian plants in the world,
the investment in this incredible resource is enormous. The material for most of the
75,000 plants at the gardens has been collected from all states and territories across
Australia including some island territories. Given the investment in the landscapes
and the plants at the ANBG, stringent environmental conditions were placed on
Draincorp to avoid any damage to these and other built assets. Draincorp performed
above even the ANBG expectations avoiding any damage and leaving no trace.
The project also included building state of the art pumping and filtration system
located four hundred meters from the ANBG site on the edge of Lake Burley Griffin
and trunk main connection into the existing irrigation system. This component of the
work involved boring and excavation with consideration to major roads and services
infrastructure and the ACT government’s landscapes. It is very difficult to find
evidence of this work apart from the discrete pumping station housed in a
camouflaged purpose build structure on the edge of Lake Burley Griffin.
The project was completed on time and within budget a result of Draincorp’s high
performance throughout the project.
Based on the performance of Draincorp against building the non-potable and
potable water infrastructure for the ANBG I have no hesitation in recommending
Draincorp for similar works.
